# Understanding of RACI, RAPID, and DARE

**Prerequisite.** The source assumes the reader knows what [[entity-raci-d1]] (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed), [[entity-rapid-d1]], and [[entity-dare-d1]] stand for — it critiques their *implementation* without defining the acronyms.

**Why it's required.** Without these definitions, the reader cannot follow the central anecdote about the *Accountable vs. Responsible* confusion ([[claim-raci-misunderstood]]) or the delegation logic in [[action-delegate-decisions]]. See each entity note for canonical expansions (including the McKinsey expansions of RAPID and DARE).
