# Contrarian: AI Makes the Workplace More Humane, Not More Robotic

**Contrarian insight.** A common fear is that AI will turn workplaces into cold, automated, robotic environments. The author argues the *exact opposite*: because AI handles the robotic, cognitive, and repetitive tasks flawlessly, the only way humans can add value is by leaning heavily into **empathy, kindness, and emotional intelligence**.
