# Pilot XR with a Targeted Group (50–100 volunteers)

## Pilot XR with a Targeted Group

**Action:** Do not attempt to solve all training issues at once. Identify a **single difficult problem** where traditional training fails, select the appropriate XR tool via the [[framework-xr-modality-selection|selection matrix]], and start with a **pilot group of 50 to 100 volunteers**.

**Expected outcome:** a controlled environment to test efficacy *before* encountering scale-related bottlenecks. This is step 3 of the [[framework-xr-implementation|XR Implementation Strategy]]; the next step is [[action-scale-xr-carefully|scaling carefully]].
