# Install Higgsfield MCP in Claude

## Action

Add [[entity-higgsfield]]'s Model Context Protocol connector to [[entity-claude-d1]] as a custom integration.

## Steps

1. Open [[entity-claude-d1]] → **Settings**.
2. Navigate to the **Connectors** tab.
3. Click **Add custom connector**.
4. Paste the Higgsfield MCP URL.
5. Complete the authentication flow.
6. Verify by triggering a test generation in any chat.

## Outcome

Claude can now interpret image/video generation prompts and return rendered media files (PNG, MP4) directly in the chat UI. This unlocks:

- The Face-Locked Thumbnail skill via [[action-build-thumbnail-skill]] and [[concept-face-lock]].
- Any custom [[concept-claude-skills-d1]] that needs to emit media.

## Caveat

MCP connectors can break on API changes, auth expiry, or rate limits — build fallback paths (manual prompt + external tool) into mission-critical workflows.
