## The shift

Three videos converge on a single structural shift in who the *user* of digital products is. The customer of generated artifacts, of business APIs, and of context infrastructure is increasingly *another AI agent*, not a human.

## The cross-day evidence

- **S07** introduces [[concept-agent-callable-primitive]] and [[contrarian-images-for-agents]]: the most economically valuable consumer of generated images may be other AI agents, not humans. [[framework-agent-primitive-loop]] (Spec → Generate → Read) is the systems-side framing.
- **S24** makes the *infrastructure* implication explicit. [[entity-mcp|Model Context Protocol]] is the canonical Layer 1 of [[framework-intent-gap-layers]]. [[action-build-mcp-infrastructure]] kills [[concept-shadow-agents]]. Agents need standardized, vendor-agnostic, governed plumbing to do useful work across organizational systems.
- **S28** makes the *business* implication explicit. [[concept-agent-ready-business]] (Fast, Easy, MCP-ready) and [[concept-agent-discovery]] are the new tablestakes. [[concept-agentic-economy]] is the umbrella concept. [[action-make-business-agent-ready]] is the operational prescription. [[question-agent-discovery-solution]] flags the missing 'Agent Native App Store' as a greenfield infrastructure opportunity.

## The unifying claim

In all three videos, the same structure appears: *the human-facing surface is becoming the wrong unit of design.* In S07 the wrong unit is pixel quality; in S24 the wrong unit is the chat UI; in S28 the wrong unit is the marketing funnel. In each case, the right unit is the agent-readable interface — a structured spec, an MCP endpoint, a discoverable trust signal.

## What dies in this shift

[[concept-middleware-squeeze]] (S07) and [[claim-thin-wrappers-dead]] (S28) are the same death: thin design / thin SaaS / thin marketing layers that exist only to translate human intent into machine action are squeezed by foundation models doing it directly. [[concept-thin-wrappers]] is the canonical category.

## What is born in this shift

The five [[framework-5-durable-verticals]] (Trust, Context, Distribution, Taste, Liability) are explicitly the five things agents *cannot* generate themselves. [[concept-vertical-trust]] is needed because agents will refuse unverified endpoints; [[concept-vertical-context]] because models are general but context is proprietary; [[concept-vertical-distribution]] because agent discovery is unsolved; [[concept-vertical-taste]] because aesthetic judgment remains incompressible ([[concept-incompressible-experience]] from S25); [[concept-vertical-liability]] because [[claim-liability-cannot-be-automated]].

## For downstream agents

When advising on product design or business strategy, ask: 'what would your product look like if your primary customer were an autonomous agent, not a human?' The answer is the agent-economy roadmap. See also [[arc-trust-evidence-collapse]] and [[arc-moat-migration]].
